Intended Use

DeRoyal Surgical Skin Markers are intended for use by a properly licensed practitioner for marking on the skin in perioperative or other procedural settings.

Precautions

• May cause irritation in sensitized individuals. If irritation occurs, wash affected areas with soap and water. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. Use care if applying prep solution over skin marker ink. Ink may smear.
• This device is for single patient use only. It is not intended for disinfection and subsequent re-use, which may result in device failure and/or create the risk of contamination.
• This device has not been evaluated for reprocessing or re-sterilization. Reprocessing and/or resterilization may damage the device, rendering it unusable and/ or may lead to device failure, which could result in patient illness, injury, or death.
• If Ink is leaking or dried out, discard and replace.

Directions for use

• Remove sterile pen from packaging.
• Remove pen cap.
• Mark desired area on skin with skin marker according to facility protocol.
• Allow the marker to dry before applying prep solution (not included).
• Dispose of skin marker after use on individual patient
