Intended Use of Deroyal 81-1010HP Temperature Probe Interface Cables, Hewlett Packard and Philips Monitors YSI 400 Series
The DeRoyal Interface Cable is a reusable interface cable for use only with disposable temperature probes.
Directions for Use Deroyal 81-1010HP Temperature Probe Interface Cables, Hewlett Packard and Philips Monitors YSI 400 Series
- Connect the Interface Cable into the appropriate monitor jack.
- Connect a disposable temperature probe to the cable.
- Refer to the instruction sheet insert found inside the disposable temperature probe boxes for SUGGESTED DIRECTIONS FOR USE.
- After use with probe, disconnect from probe by pulling the two connectors apart. DO NOT pull on the cable lead wire while attempting to disconnect. Avoid crushing the cable lead wire or connector.
- Follow facility approved protocol for cleaning of the cable. If cable is damaged, dispose of according to facility protocol.

- DO NOT autoclave the cable or gas sterilize if temperature will exceed 60 degrees C (140 degrees F).
- DO NOT immerse the cable in liquids for cleaning. If necessary, clean the cable by wiping it using a cloth moistened with mild detergent.
