The Covidien VP755X is a Surgipro II Monofilament Polypropylene Suture designed for use in cardiovascular and peripheral vascular procedures. It is sterile, non-toxic, and non-pyrogenic. The suture is pigmented blue for visibility and has a uniform diameter for maximum flexibility. The advanced extrusion process of the polypropylene molecule gives the suture excellent security with snug and flattened knots, minimal memory, and reduced “pig-tailing”. It also provides consistent knotting strength.
The suture comes with a taper point, size 5-0, and is 24″ long. It is attached to a needle CV-20, 1/2 circle. The product is packed in a box of 36.
The Surgipro II suture has several key features and benefits. Its low profile and small footprint make it easy to dress. The downward angled tubing helps maintain dressing integrity. The ergonomic wing design provides controlled access and site visibility. The suture also has an audible “click” and visual indication of lockout, and it is dual lumen port adaptable.
