The splint measures 4 inches by 30 inches and comes in a box of 5. It offers a wrinkle-free application and eliminates the risk of delamination. The easy stretch padding covers all edges and the roll form eliminates waste.
The splinting system is composed of a multi-layered knitted fiberglass substrate impregnated with a polyurethane resin. In its hardened state, the resin contains a very low volatility form of diisocyanate, commonly referred to as 1,1-Methylenebis isocyanatobenzene.
The ORTHO-GLASS / DYNACAST PRELUDE Splinting System is white to yellowish in color with a very slight odor. The product is not classified as a poisonous, harmful, or acutely hazardous waste and can be disposed of in a solid waste landfill or incinerated.
