The BSN Medical OG-430PC is a pre-cut splint from the ORTHO-GLASS Fiberglass Padded Splinting System. This product is designed to provide rigid external immobilization for fractures and other orthopedic indications. It features Interlocking Performance Technology (ILP) which eliminates the risk of delamination, ensuring a strong, durable splint.
The ORTHO-GLASS splinting system is easy to handle and extremely versatile. Its quick setting time and ultra-conformability meet the demands of modern users for a fast, secure, and easy splinting solution.
The splint measures 4 inches by 30 inches and comes in a box of 5. It offers a wrinkle-free application and eliminates the risk of delamination. The easy stretch padding covers all edges and the roll form eliminates waste.
The splinting system is composed of a multi-layered knitted fiberglass substrate impregnated with a polyurethane resin. In its hardened state, the resin contains a very low volatility form of diisocyanate, commonly referred to as 1,1-Methylenebis isocyanatobenzene.
The ORTHO-GLASS / DYNACAST PRELUDE Splinting System is white to yellowish in color with a very slight odor. The product is not classified as a poisonous, harmful, or acutely hazardous waste and can be disposed of in a solid waste landfill or incinerated.
