PLASTER ROLL 2''X3 YARDS - 30-7362
The BSN Medical 30-7362 is a Gypsona S Plaster Bandage that provides fast setting and high mass weight for quick immobilization of fractures. This bandage is ideal for use in busy fracture clinics and plaster rooms. The bandage measures 2 inches by 3 yards and comes in a pack of 12 rolls.
The ‘BANDAGE 1.5INX5YD COLORPACK CO 48RLCS – 5150CP’ by Andover is a top-quality plaster bandage that offers a quick setting material, making it ideal for use in busy fracture clinics and plaster rooms. This bandage features a plain weave gauze fabric coated with a blend of the alpha and beta forms of calcium sulphate hemihydrate (plaster of Paris), binders, and accelerators. It provides a strong and durable cast, resulting in low plaster loss when immersed. The bandage sets to form a hard rigid structure, which is both porous and absorbent. The rate of setting is largely governed by the temperature of the water, but if the bandage is used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, an initial set will take place in about two minutes. The cast will be fully set in about 3-5 minutes, although it may not achieve its maximum strength and become weight-bearing for up to 24-48 hours. This bandage is supplied wrapped around plastic spools designed to allow rapid, even wetting upon immersion. The product comes in a pack of 48 rolls per case.
