With less plastic content than other safety IV catheters, the Introcan Safety IV Catheter can potentially reduce storage space and medical waste. The Introcan Safety IV Catheter is easy to prepare and insert, with clear instructions provided. After use, the passive safety shield automatically covers the needle bevel, and the needle can be properly discarded into a sharps container.
