Fiberglass Padded Precut System
SafetySplint is a unique, strong and durable unpadded splint which allows you to control the amount of cushion between the patient and the splint. The unique liner does not require gloves and allows for easy removal for dressing changes.
Safety Splint is an unpadded, synthetic splinting roll comprising seven layers of polyurethane resin impregnated fibreglass covered by a polypropylene liner. Safety Splint is available in a convenient roll presentation making application easy and ensuring there is no wastage. The unique liner of Safety Splint allows the clinician to control the amount of cushioning between the patient and the splint. The liner is made of a point-bonded, non-woven, polypropylene fabric which can be cleaned or washed using a mild detergent and re-applied after a short drying period.
