The Alimed 6962 – MULTIBOOT REGULAR is a highly versatile contracture and wound care boot designed to provide maximum heel pressure relief while also offering protection against footdrop. The semi-flexible shell is sturdy enough to guard against footdrop, yet flexible enough to allow for limited ambulation when the outsole is in place. This makes it suitable even for individuals with lower extremity weakness.
The boot features a fully aerated heel that not only aids in wound healing but also accommodates dressings. An antirotation bar is included to aid in positioning by limiting unwanted rotation of the hip. The toe plate keeps bedding off the toes, reducing the risk of skin breakdown or contracture.
The Standard liner attaches securely to the MultiBoot’s backbone, enveloping the foot in soft fleece for improved patient comfort and compliance. The boot is available in various sizes, with the small size fitting up to Women’s 8, the Medium/Large size fitting Women’s 8.5 to 11 and Men’s 7 to 10.5, and the X-Large size fitting Men’s 11.
The Deluxe liner, available in Medium/Large size only, is wider and offers extra padding, making it ideal for patients with extremely fragile skin susceptible to bruising and skin tear. The New Genuine Wool Liner is perfect for fragile and sensitive skin, wicking away excess moisture for comfort in both warm and cold temperatures. This fully washable liner is resistant to mildew, mold, flame, and dust mites.
