Both the adult and pediatric sides have a one-piece diaphragm that is easy to remove, attach and clean because the surface is smooth and without cracks. Tunable diaphragm technology, a 3M invention, allows healthcare professionals to hear sounds of different frequencies simply by adjusting the pressure on the part.
