The 3M 6100Q Probed Reusable Respirator Assembly is a respirator assembly for quantitative fit testing on 3M Respirators 6000 Series. This assembly includes a probed facepiece and P100 filters. Fit testing is conducted to measure the adequacy of a respirator’s fit to the wearer’s face. The probed facepiece allows for numerical measurement of the amount of leakage into the respirator. This respirator assembly should only be used for fit testing and not for respiratory protection in contaminated areas.
This product features a 4 point harness type and is made from Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE). It is part of the 6000 product series and is designed for fit testing. The respirator is not maintenance-free and does not have a silicone faceseal, six-point head harness, or speaking diaphragm. It does, however, have spare parts available.
The product comes in a case quantity of 4 and is designed for use only for fit quantitative testing. It is compatible with 3M Supplied Air System and welding shield but not with 3M PAPR Systems. It does not have a cool flow exhalation valve, drop-down feature, enhanced comfort, enhanced durability, or eye protection. It does not come with accessories.
