The needle features a key/slot arrangement of stylet and cannula hubs, which facilitates proper needle bevel orientation. It also features a unique translucent window hub with a clear contact that allows for visualization of the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). The fitted stylet is designed to reduce tissue coring.
The needle has a blue polypropylene hub, and its regular wall type and regular type of bevel are designed for ease of use. The product is sterilized using Ethylene Oxide (EO) and has a total shelf life of 1825 days.
