The Smiths Medical 100/815/100 is a comprehensive Tracheostomy Tube Kit, specifically designed to provide convenience and extra assurance. The kit includes a cuffed tracheostomy tube of size 10mm with a length of 87.5mm. The tube is made from PVC and features a flange for secure placement.
Also included in the kit are two disposable inner cannulas for easy maintenance and hygiene, an obturator for easy insertion, a 10ml syringe for inflating the cuff, and a 15mm wedge for securing the tube. For cleaning purposes, a brush is provided.
The kit also comes with a trach holder to keep the tube in place. The Portex Blue Line Ultra tracheostomy tube is radiopaque, making it visible in x-rays, which aids in accurate placement and monitoring.
