The 3M 1624W Tegaderm Transparent Film Dressing is a versatile, easy-to-apply dressing that provides a waterproof, sterile barrier to external contaminants including liquids, bacteria, and viruses. This dressing is designed to protect I.V. sites, enhance wound healing, prevent skin breakdown, and protect clean, closed surgical incisions.
The dressing is made of a thin film backing with a non-latex, hypoallergenic adhesive. It is breathable, allowing good oxygen and moisture vapor exchange, and is waterproof and impermeable to liquids, bacteria, and viruses.
