The BSN Medical 7345803 – Delta-Lite Plus White 4″ x 4YD is a fiberglass cast tape that combines a fiberglass substrate and advanced water-activated polyurethane resin system. This unique system provides tack-free properties, allowing for easy application and molding using standard examination gloves.
The Delta-Lite Plus is designed to ensure excellent rigid support, making it the trusted solution for all fractures requiring strong and lasting support. Its strong yet light fiberglass yarns provide a rigid and durable cast for uncompromising protection, while the substrate remains flexible enough to avoid muscle constrictions.
This product features low tack resin, is suitable for primary and secondary casting, provides rigid support, has good conformability, high lamination, excellent end lay down, and a smooth surface. It has a set time of 3-5 minutes and is weight bearing in 20 minutes.
The product is latex-free, sterile, and single-use. It is packaged in a box of 10, making it a cost-effective choice for healthcare facilities.
In addition to its strong and durable construction, the Delta-Lite Plus also offers comfort and ease of application. The slip agent surfactant creates a plaster of paris-like sensation during the working time for precise anatomic molding. The resin formula ensures a reliable, comfortable working time window and good pliability throughout the working time.

The Delta-Lite Plus is validated for use on most infusion pumps, including BD Alaris Infusion Pumps. It is primarily sterilized via E-beam, ensuring that all products labeled as sterile and released for sale by BD are certified to be sterile as long as the package is unopened and undamaged.
This product has been evaluated in accordance with ISO 10993 “Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices”, and complies with all relevant sections. It has also been tested per United States Pharmacopeia (USP) chapter 85 – Bacterial Endotoxins Test and meets limits as specified in chapter 161- Transfusion and Infusion Assemblies and Similar Medical Devices.
