The 3M 3355 Cavilon Durable Barrier Cream is a unique moisturizing barrier cream designed with 3M polymers for patients at risk from incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD). This fragrance-free cream requires less frequent application and resists washing off, making care easier. The hypoallergenic formula contains dimethicone for better protection of patients’ skin. It is compatible with chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) and can be used with tapes and dressings. The cream is designed to provide patient comfort by moisturizing as it protects skin against incontinence-associated dermatitis. It offers long-lasting protection, resisting wash-off and requiring fewer applications than typical moisture barriers, saving time and effort. It allows adhesives to adhere and vanishes into the skin, allowing tapes and dressings to adhere without clogging briefs or diapers. The cream is clinically proven to provide good electrode performance for up to five days.

The gown is designed with two inserts that allow for greater warming flexibility: upper, torso or lower body warming; clinical and comfort warming throughout the perioperative process. It also includes side ties to ensure full, secure coverage, even in the back.
