The Deroyal 26-005NS is a non-sterile skin marker designed for clear and smooth line markings on patients’ skin in perioperative or other procedural settings. This standard skin marker features gentian violet ink that is non-toxic and non-tattooing. The barrel of the marker is legibly ruled in centimeters, and it comes with a flexible 15cm ruler that allows for the measurement of body curves.
This product also includes optional blank labels for the identification of medications or specimens. Each marker is individually packed in sterile peel pouches for fiber-free introduction into the sterile field. The dispenser boxes are designed to minimize storage and maximize convenience.
This skin marker is intended for single patient use only and is not made with natural rubber latex. It is recommended to allow the marker to dry before applying prep solution to prevent the ink from smearing.
Each case contains 100 skin markers. Please note that this device is not intended for disinfection and subsequent re-use, which may result in device failure and/or create the risk of contamination.
