The 3M Steri-Drape TUR Drape with Fluid Collection Pouch (Product code: 1081) is a unique, one-piece design specifically created for urology procedures. This product features a large fluid collection pouch with an integrated filter, providing effective fluid control and collection of resected tissue.
The drape is made from absorbent prevention fabric that absorbs spills and splatters, eliminating the need for multiple layers and preventing strike-through. It comes with an optional aperture for a suprapubic catheter that can stay fully covered by the liner during the TUR, and can easily be removed before catheter insertion. The malleable metal wire keeps the pouch open for optimal fluid collection. The drape also includes a neoprene finger cot, which does not contain natural rubber latex and is used for aseptic rectal palpation.
The 3M Steri-Drape TUR Drape meets Flammability Class 1 (CFR Title 16 Part 1610), AAMI Standard PB70:2012 Liquid barrier performance and classification of protective apparel and drapes intended for use in health care facilities, and AORN 2014 Recommended Practices for materials, selection, and use of surgical drapes.
The drape measures 64″ (164cm) in length and 60″ (152cm) in width at arm extensions. Each box contains 14 drapes, with 2 boxes per case.
